It's been a while since I posted, not because there hasn't been a lot going on, but because there's been so much going on I haven't had the time. This past week (Marcus' last week here) has been, as we like to say "la rally familiar" with lunches, trips, paseos, and a bachelor/ette party that for someone (Marcus) ended at 4 a.m. this morning... and he had to be at the airport at 5... ouch... glad he's traveling solo, even if someone has been crying for him all morning long.
So, very quickly, a few new pics...
6.28.2009 we hosted a lunch for our friends - 14 adults, 12 kids ranging in ages from 9 months to 9 years... had an awesome time. Here Emi is with her "primas" Alegria & Francisca.

Wednesday we went to Otavalo with Marcus' parents. First stop was the market where Emilia was fascinated by these little figurines... they were kind of like bobblehead toys.

that second friends photo is ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS. Emilia is loving being one of the gang. oh marcus! hope he's was at least able to sleep it off on the plane!
just talked to him - i think he's sleeping it off while sitting in the airport!
