warm weather fun

with the unseasonably warm weather we have initiated our summertime routines - visits to chick-fil-a (someone ate an entire kids meal, plus part of Brooks' fruit salad), stroller walks where someone falls asleep (or passes out from the heat), searching for Casey (the neighbor's sweet dog), swing time, and some old-fashioned sprinkler fun in the backyard. welcome summer ~ we've missed you Created with PhotoShake

but apparently i'm not that bright. 

particularly when it comes to switching my brain from using a pc to a mac.

it's supposed to be super intuitive... but apparently that's only the case for the smarties.

in any case i just finished my first iMovie *roar of crowd* of the Christmas holidays.

that's right... Christmas.  don't judge.

you'll note there's only one picture from Christmas Eve - of Javier and his huge gash on his head from tumbling down 14 hardwood stairs in Nana & Richard's house.  marcus asked me not to include it, but i felt it was important for posterity sake.

oh, and the music was the first song i saw when iTunes opened up... let's be grateful it wasn't christmas music.

at this rate, maybe i'll catch up with the rest of my blogging... one day. :(

last one - NYC

In February I dashed up to NYC with Tia Marga and the Bug to go dress shopping with Nena and her girlfriends. We had a great time - so fun to be with these girls - the excitement was contagious! We crammed in to the dressing room while Nena tried on about 10 dresses before finally finding 'the one'. It's a show stopper and she looks spectacular. Have to admit I got all teary-eyed, but weddings always do that to me. Can't wait for October! Created with PhotoShake

We girls decided we needed to get away from all the boys, basketball watching, and Andres' crying, so I took Emi for her first mani-pedi. While nervous at first she ended up loving it and would like to go back tomorrow - yikes! Created with PhotoShake iPad

Andres has been super sick for the past week – crazy high fevers, up to 105.4 that had me in the ER with him on Wednesday night, and have subsequently caused him to erupt in a nasty rash all over his face, arms, and trunk. He's slowly getting better but it's been rough. Had to document his bar-code, his barf bag courtesy Levine Children's ER, the near constant crying, and the nasty rash. Created with PhotoShake iPad
